hello world ... hello kitty

I've been playing Everquest for roughly 2 (maybe slightly more) years. I loved the concept and the game really kept me hooked. Of course, that means I'm only all the more eager for Everquest 2 which is released tomorrow.

However. Today, I read that there is a new MMORPG -- of Hello Kitty. It basically looks like The Sims. But it's Hello Kitty.

I never understood the insane fascination with Hello Kitty. I mean, true -- the whole genre of characters are kind'a cute -- holds my attention for about 30 seconds as I go "aww, cute." But why do we need an MMORPG of this.
