surprisingly unaware

It was brought to my attention today that Mad World (from Donnie Darko) was, in fact, written by Tears For Fears. Everyone I have asked has known this. It's like some cosmic secret that I was not let in on.

Needless to say, the cord structure is really easy, and I plunked it out on the piano last nite (the Donnie Darko verson, not that trashy Tears for Fears version which is just yuk).

*sigh* the rain today is very sad. Rainy days and Mondays always get me down. But a rainy Monday -- well, that's just a blatant call for sedatives, sad music, and possibly an unfinished bag of halloween candy. or two.
